In Memory Of Denise Ann Basch
1959-2021

On January 24, 2021 the world lost someone more vibrant than the most brilliant diamond and more precious than gold - wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend, Denise Basch. If you ever had the privilege of meeting Denise, you would not forget her. From her colorful outfits – of course with matching glasses and jewelry - to her gregarious personality and infectious laugh, Denise loved life and all those she shared it with.

If you knew Denise, you know she never settled for anything less than the best, and the word “no” was never an obstacle for her. Her resilience and wit drove her, along with her loving husband Don, to quite literally build Don Basch Jewelers from the ground up, starting more than 41 years ago in the basement of their own home. Since then – all while raising Donny, Daniel, Dennis, Dustin, and Dayna; volunteering for many activities in the community; and hosting countless family parties – the business grew to a store front, added many beloved and valued employees, and touched the lives of thousands of customers along the way. What Denise was most proud of professionally was passing these lessons and values on to the next generation of Don Basch Jewelers, her sons, Donny, Daniel and Dustin.

The care that Denise put into her family and her business was the same care with which she served every single customer who has walked through the doors of Don Basch Jewelers over the years. To her, jewelry was personal, and represented something unique and special about the person who wore it.

The unique and special brilliance of Denise will not be forgotten. Her legacy will be carried on by her family, and each and every person who knew and loved her.
